Haiti continues its flawless run in Concacaf qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 with another win [3-0] on Antigua and Barbuda after the one against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines [5-0] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44265-haiti-u17-qualifiers-qatar-2025-the-grenadiers-massacre-saint-vincent-and-the-grenadines-5-0.html

The match was largely dominated by Haiti, but had to rely on three penalties to make the difference. Franco Célestin opened the score in the 14th minute and Emerson Laissé converted two other penalties in the 34th and 82nd minutes.

GOAL :

Haiti :

Franco Celestin 14' (on Penalty) [1-0]

Emerson Left 34' [2-0] and 82' [3-0], both on Penalty.

With 6 points and a difference of +8, our Grenadiers remain at the top of the Group E standings, despite Guatemala's large victory [5-0] against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The Guatemalans, also at 6 points, have a goal difference of +6 and occupy second place.

The decisive match for first place in the group will pit Haiti against Guatemala on Sunday, February 16. Let us recall that the team that finishes first in its Group will directly validate its ticket for the final phase of the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar from November 5 to 27, 2025. A draw will be enough for Eddy César's Grenadiers to secure their third historic qualification for this competition after 2007 and 2019.

#2 Guatemala : (2 matches) 5 points, 7 goals scored, 1 conceded (+6)
